  1. Art Official upsets in Meadowlands Pace (vid) - US
    Art Official snapped Somebeachsomewhere’s undefeated streak in world record fashion with a 1:47 victory in the $1.1 million Meadowlands Pace on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.
  2. With an artful drive, Art Official upsets, Carol Hodes - US
    In all the hoopla leading up to the $1.1 million Meadowlands Pace, the signature event for three-year-old pacers, the mid-summer classic that has both crowned and confounded great horses since 1977, there was nothing but respect and deference to the unbeaten Somebeachsomewhere.
  3. Green and Mitchell combination to split, Garrick Knight - NZ
    The training partnership of Ray Green and Robert Mitchell, which has gathered 80 wins over the past five seasons, is about to split come July 31.
  4. Beach Party at Hanover Raceway - US
    Hanover Raceway will interrupt its races on Saturday night to show the 1.1 million dollar final of the Meadowlands Pace. Somebeachsomewhere, will try and extend his unbeaten streak to 11 races in Saturday nights final at about 10:20pm.
  5. Greatest Defeat of All-Time, Scott Waddell - US
    Many fans of phenom Somebeachsomewhere find themselves hanging their heads after the pacer tasted defeat for the first-time in his illustrious career.
  6. Art Major fully booked this season, Harnesslink -  AU & NZ
    Alabar Stud/Bloodstock is reporting today that it’s boom shuttle sire Art Major has a full book for the upcoming Down Under breeding season and there is now a waiting list in place for his services.
  7. Australasian record falls at Menangle - AU
    Menangle Park again proved it is Australasia’s superior track after Captain Joy rated a blistering 1:54.8 in winning his division of the Watpac NSW Breeders Challenge on Sunday (July 20)
  8. Horses to Watch at the Meadowlands, Derick Giwner - US
    This list is designed to provide horses who had tough trips, traffic trouble or looked impressive in their recent start. Always consider whether each horse is at a competitive level and if their price warrants a play before wagering in their next start.
