John Campbell Signs Sponsorship Deal With BetAmerica

We came across a press release over the weekend from BetAmerica announcing they’ve signed on to sponsor John Campbell, one of the biggest names in harness racing.

The deal was brokered by Branding Rights, which specializes in these types of arrangements.

BetAmerica say that their hoping to create a dream team of harness racing drivers, “who will help promote our brand and services to the harness industry and its fans.”

The dream team is a great idea. In the poker industry the online poker site Full Tilt Poker pumps lots of money into sponsoring the top professional players, which gets them massive coverage at big tournaments.

I think this is a very positive trend for the industry, and am looking forward to seeing the Dream Team in the near future. Just how much exposure this will get BetAmerica is anyone guess for now though.
