The Harness Racing Toolbar
On Friday over on Harnesslink we released our new Harness Racing Toolbar. It sits quietly in your browser and is designed to give the harness fan easy access to harness racing resources as you browse the net.
Before getting to the features, here’s a screen shot of what the toolbar looks like, with the video section expanded:
One of the main motivations for the toolbar was to give people easy access to live video and race replays. Rather than bookmarking all the sites, or going to a page that lists a ton (which are often outdated), we’ve put all the links straight into your browser.
The beautiful thing is that when we update the list, your toolbar will automagically update.
The other features:
Automatically Updated News
The latest harness racing news is now just one click away. As we publish news on Harnesslink, it will be sent to your browser so you will always be informed.
Entries, Results and Statistics
The Harness Racing Toolbar gives you quick access to relevant statistical information right from your browser. See the screen shot below:
Racing Radio (and any radio station in the world)
With the toolbar you can listen to the trots while browsing the net. Not only that but the toolbar will automatically detect your local stations and allow you to stream them into your browser.
And… if you know the name of a station anywhere in the world you can also add that to your player, and it will be playable within your browser.
As you can see in the above picture, I can stream dozens of local stations, and even listen to racing radio in the US, Australia and the UK.
Betting
As an added bonus we’ve also included a little betting section within the toolbar, which links to some major betting websites, weekly selections by online handicappers, track takeout charts and an odds calculator. It also has some links to sign up bonuses (shown below), which we hope to increase in the future.
Download the Toolbar
To download the Harness Racing Toolbar click the below button and then click “Run”. (Firefox users click here for download instructions.) Enjoy!

P.S. If you would like to see anything added to the toolbar - like radio stations, betting websites, resources, or anything else you can think of, please email admin@harnesslink.com, or just leave a comment below.
P.P.S. A quick note about privacy: When you first install the toolbar it asks you if you would like to send usage statistics back to help improve the toolbar. If you are concerned about privacy you can simply deselect this box.
